The Victory Dress ~ Antique hand-stitched, homespun linen smock dress reworked with a patchwork feed sack snake appliqué that wraps around the body acting as a guardian and symbolizing healing, harmony, and regeneration.
Snake was constructed using 1930s feed sack quilt fabric and 1930s sugar sack typography. Various patches throughout, including antique hand-embroidered pansies and rice + flour sack typography spanning from the 1930s-1950s. Fat laces and grommets added by us.
